Designer Door & Window closely monitors the flow of work, from the ordering to the checking of progress, then to the delivery and installation. “We don’t have a big warehouse, and we make the best use of our space, including the stain shop and the door finishing area,” said Barron, whose nearly 6,000-square foot location includes an attractive (2,700-square foot) showroom. “Our customers can visit our location to see their product before we install it. We’ll receive products a week before installation and put it through a quality check. We ensure there isn’t much lag time, which enables us to install right on schedule. We don’t let product sit around.”
