Designer Door & Window Offers Springtime Decor Tips For Replacement Doors

Having replacement doors installed by Designer Door and Window is a great way to kick off the beautiful, refreshing Spring season. Another wonderful rite of passage is to decorate your new doors after the job has been completed.

The company’s professionals are pleased to share several ideas for decorating your replacement door with the hope that they will inspire you to liven up your home’s entryway.

Because your front door is the first thing that friends and guests will see, and it should reflect your family and your life, as well as how comfortable your home’s interior looks and feels.

Spread the word

No one enjoys answering the doorbell all day long, but you won’t have to if you simply ‘spread the word’. Use a chalkboard for your front door to provide pertinent information, such as whether you are at home. Just leave a brief message on the board to apprise visitors of everyone’s availability. As a result, you won’t be answering the doorbell all day long. You may choose to use chalk markers in place of regular chalk.

Arrangement in a Basket

It’s very simply to make cheerful spring arrangement in a basket. Just take four faux pussy willow branches, two faux forsythia branches, two faux dogwood branches, two faux fern stems or greenery, a block of floral foam that fits your basket, a hanging wall basket, sheet moss (depending on your type of basket) and sharp scissors or wire cutters. You may use the pussy willow stems as a background and stick them in floral foam along the back of the basket. Place the dogwood branches in front of the pussy willows and ensure that the arrangement looks full. Follow with the forsythia in the front of the basket, then add the fern branches around the bottom.

Your design takes flight

You can come up with a design that really takes flight with a birdhouse motif. Use a birdhouse wreath with a decorated grapevine base and a cute little birdhouse for an extremely compelling door design. First, decorate the grapevine wreath with moss, berries, ivy, or flowers Your next step is to securely attach the birdhouse to the wreath with wire on the top, bottom and sides. Your final step is to add a pretty bow or gingham check ribbon with some tiny birds and eggs.
